Dr. Norman Bishop is a native of West Virginia and a U.S. Air Force veteran (1977-1981). He attended West Virginia Tech and graduated from Life University's School of Chiropractic in Atlanta in 1986. He began practicing in the West Ashley area of Charleston in 1986, opened an office in Goose Creek in 1987 and relocated to North Charleston in 1998.
His post-graduate studies include clinical nutrition, headache management, spinal rehabilitation, extremity adjusting, scoliosis management, pediatric and geriatric chiropractic techniques, sports injury rehabilitation and Gonstead technique methods. He is a member of the South Carolina Chiropractic Association and the Gonstead Clinical Studies Society and served as president of the Goose Creek Rotary Club, the Tri-County Chiropractic Council and Earlybird Toastmasters. He enjoys spending time with his family and his other interests include music, martial arts, swimming, cycling and running.
